Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with new product development activities including 3D modelling, 2D detailing, BOM creation and technical datasheets
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure efficient data exchange and adherence to company standards
- Ensure manufacturing and assembly requirements are incorporated into designs
- Develop and produce prototype samples, evaluating engineering feasibility
- Collaborate with fabrication teams to achieve accurate, right-first-time production
- Assist with the development of bespoke and non-standard products
- Follow quality, ISO and health & safety procedures at all times
What we're looking for:
- Experience using 3D CAD software, ideally SolidWorks
- Strong computer skills and a desire to continue learning
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to manage multiple projects effectively
- A reliable and proactive approach to work
- An understanding of electrical, optical or thermal engineering would be advantageous
