What you'll be doing

As Junior Sous Chef, you'll support the Head Chef across a varied operation, preparing everything from restaurant dining to weddings, conferences, and banqueting. You'll be responsible for:

  • Running your own section during prep and service
  • Supporting the senior kitchen team across multiple kitchens
  • Preparing fresh dishes to a consistently high standard
  • Assisting with stock control, portion control, and minimising waste
  • Maintaining Food Safety and HACCP standards
  • Training and supporting junior members of the brigade
