Job Overview: Assistant Accountant opportunity with a minimum of three years' experience in accountancy practice.
Key Experience:
- Bookkeeping and VAT returns using accounting software (we use Xero, but experience with other software is fine).
- Accounts preparation up to review stage (our Lead Advisors review all work completed by assistants).
- Personal tax returns, primarily for directors and shareholders, though this isn't essential, as we can provide training.
- Iris Accountancy Suite for accounts and tax, and our workbook is managed in Excel.
A young and dynamic team of 11, creating a great office environment.
Working Arrangements:
- Hybrid working: In-office 5 days out of 10, with a structured calendar to ensure at least three team members are in daily.
- Mondays in-office: Required for workflow meetings with Lead Advisors.
