The perfectly placed local Office Manager role for someone to be heard, make a difference and make their mark on a growing local business.
After acquiring another business, this company are at a point where directors are being pulled into office management duties which they don’t have time to do correctly, size of business has increased and continuing to so now they need an individual to come in and take complete ownership of:
Office management – overseeing the running and structure of the office
Overseeing the administrative department – four Administrators, supervising and supporting
Client onboarding – onboarding new clients, attending new client meetings with staff members to gather full information
Operations – implementing company policies and procedures, recognising improvements and actioning
Human resources – completing staff inductions, ensuring appraisals being done, supporting on recruitment and staff engagement
There’s no surprise this company have retained 80% of their clients for over 20 years, and 85% of staff have been there minimum 15 years.
They do things differently, they’re a true face to face business, meetings are all held face to face, internally and externally, they are in constant contact with clients and likewise, always keeping staff up to date on future plans and where they’re at right now. Transparency always.
Therefore, this role requires someone to be in the office full time, with 1 day a week travel to their Clitheroe office for the weekly team meeting. There is flexibility around working from home, on an ad hoc basis if you need it!
