Lead the future of finance. Platinum are exclusively retained by a growing £8mil t/o retail business looking for their first leader of finance. The SME has recently been acquired by an international group, increasing reporting requirements and the need for a senior leader.
As the Finance Manager, you’ll play a central role in shaping the future. It’s an opportunity to lead change, modernise processes, and put your own stamp on a finance function that’s poised for transformation.
Total honesty, you won’t be stepping into a neat and tidy setup. There is work to be done, for example month-end currently takes around 2 weeks, the group want to align this to their deadlines so efficiencies need to be implemented to reduce the close time. Software needs reviewing, and the finance team of 4 staff need upskilling in certain areas.
