This has to be the most fascinating opportunity in the interim finance market. This entrepreneurial business is bolstering their leadership team with the appointment of a Commercial Finance Director on an initial 6 month interim basis.
Reporting to the Board, you will assume responsibility for all entities within the group with a business asset value in excess of £100m and an organisation with PE Investment. Led by an “elite” entrepreneur, he has guided phenomenal success, investment and acquisition with a crystal clear strategy and is now looking for finance leadership support to streamline existing functions and gear up for the next phase of growth.
Your remit will be to challenge the financial integrity, identify areas of opportunity and non-agreement, and demand first class accounting standards are achieved within clear deadlines. You will operate at board level and host pre-board meetings, full board representation and be the eyes on the ground for the MD and investment team.
This organisation thrives on structure, efficiency, process and delivery, and across the business every employee is challenged to exceed expectations within responsibilities held. It is expected at this level that you solve problems and understand that you can’t always be liked, so on occasion clear conversations are required.
