DON'T JUST JOIN A BUSINESS. HELP SHAPE IT.
This is not a “keep the numbers ticking over” role.
- This is for the Management Accountant who looks at a business and thinks:
- “I can make this better.”
The processes could be sharper.
The reporting could be smarter.
The numbers could tell a better story.
The business could have more structure.
And you want to be the person who makes that happen.
We're partnering with a long-established financial services business in Bury that is at an exciting point in its journey.
They're looking for a Management Accountant to work directly with the Finance Director
— someone who isn't afraid to roll their sleeves up, challenge the norm and get stuck into the detail.
And the opportunity?
Massive.
You'll have the chance to influence how the business operates, improve the way finance works and help build the structure needed for the next chapter.
This isn't about coming in and being told exactly what to do.
It's about being trusted to figure out what needs to be done — and then doing it.
YOU'LL HAVE THE AUTONOMY. YOU'LL HAVE THE BACKING. YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY.
We know that giving someone huge responsibility without support isn't a recipe for success.
That's why you'll have a proper, structured onboarding programme designed to get you up to speed and understand the business from the inside out.
You'll also work closely with the FD, with daily check-ins giving you direct access to senior leadership, support when you need it and the opportunity to bounce ideas around.
Then?
Trust to get on with it.
Because the right person doesn't need micromanaging.
They need space to make an impact.
