You’ll work across a varied portfolio of clients, taking responsibility for audit assignments while working closely with managers and supporting more junior members of the team.
The Role
You’ll be involved throughout the audit process, including:
- Planning and completing external and statutory audit assignments
- Managing your own portfolio of audit work
- Preparing and reviewing audit documentation
- Identifying audit risks and ensuring assignments are completed to a high standard
- Working directly with clients and building strong working relationships
- Supervising and supporting junior team members
- Communicating findings and providing practical insight to clients
- Managing your workload effectively across multiple assignments and deadlines
You’ll have plenty of exposure to different clients and industries, giving you the opportunity to broaden your experience and build the skills needed for the next stage of your career.
About You
We’d like to hear from candidates with:
- Experience in external and statutory audit within a UK accountancy practice
- A strong understanding of UK auditing standards and relevant regulations
- Experience working on audits from planning through to completion
- Good technical and analytical skills
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a wider team
- ACA or ACCA qualification, part-qualified status or relevant QBE experience
You may already be working as an Audit Senior, or be an experienced Audit Semi-Senior looking for more responsibility and the opportunity to progress.
