Ready to step out of the numbers and into the decisions?

This is an opportunity for a part or newly qualified Management Accountant to work closely with an experienced Finance Director and become a key voice in the wider business.

Based in Altrincham, you’ll be much more than the person producing the month-end numbers.

You’ll be in the room when decisions are made, at the table when performance is discussed, and trusted to make an impact.

What will you be doing?

  • Own month end – taking responsibility for accurate, insightful reporting and making sure the numbers tell the real story.
  • Influence commercial decisions – working alongside the Finance Director to provide analysis and insight that shapes the direction of the business.
  • Be visible at Board level – presenting financial information, challenging performance and helping turn numbers into meaningful business decisions.
  • Drive process improvement – spotting inefficiencies, questioning how things are done and taking the lead on making them better.
  • Become a commercial partner – working across the wider business rather than sitting behind a spreadsheet, understanding what drives performance and helping the business improve.

We’re looking for a part-qualified or newly qualified Accountant who wants more than a traditional reporting role.

You’ll have a keen eye for detail and an even keener eye for improvement. Someone who naturally asks “Why do we do it this way?” and isn’t afraid to suggest a better approach.

You’ll be commercially minded, confident communicating with senior stakeholders and keen to develop your career alongside an experienced Finance Director who will give you genuine exposure and responsibility.
