We're looking for a Stock Controller to join a busy manufacturing environment in Yeovil, where you'll play an important role in keeping stock accurate, organised and ready for production. Why apply? £30,000 - £32,000 salary Free on-site parking Smart casual dress code Store discounts Occasional free food Free coffee Permanent position within a busy manufacturing environment The role As Stock Controller, you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels and ensuring goods are stored, managed and prepared efficiently. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Maintaining and monitoring accurate stock levels and recording stock movements Managing stock rotation to help prevent waste Organising storage areas and ensuring goods are stored safely and securely Checking incoming deliveries for accuracy and quality Booking deliveries in and completing the necessary paperwork Picking and preparing orders for production Accurately picking and labelling pallets for dispatch Carrying out regular stocktakes and cycle counts Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies Using forklift trucks and other materials handling equipment to move and store stock What we're looking for Previous experience in a stock control, inventory or warehouse administration role Ideally, experience within a fresh produce or food manufacturing environment Someone organised, switched on and able to work accurately Self-motivated with a good eye for detail Comfortable working in a busy environment Flexi forklift experience/licence would be beneficial, but is not essentialIf you're an organised Stock Controller looking for your next opportunity in Yeovil, we'd love to hear from you!
