Join a busy workshop team where your organisation & attention to detail will keep machinery moving safely & efficiently. We're recruiting for a Yard Coordinator in Farnham, Surrey, to oversee yard organisation, machinery movements & transport operations. Why apply? What's in it for you? Salary starting from £28,000 per annum A varied, hands-on role within a busy workshop environment The opportunity to take ownership of yard organisation & machinery movements Regular collaboration with workshop, transport & sales teams Key Responsibilities Keep the yard clean, clear, safe & organised. Coordinate inbound & outbound transport, including loading & unloading machinery. Work with the workshop foreman & relevant teams to understand machine delivery schedules. Arrange pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) & ensure machinery is supplied with the correct attachments. Check machines before dispatch, ensuring specifications match sales orders. Confirm all third-party equipment, attachments & certificates are present before loading. Check incoming machinery for damage, paintwork issues, specifications & missing attachments. Help maintain an efficient turnaround of haulage vehicles within the yard. What we're looking for Experience in a yard, workshop, transport or machinery-related role would be beneficial. Good organisational skills & strong attention to detail. Confidence coordinating machinery movements, deliveries & collections. Ability to check equipment against specifications & identify damage or missing items. Good communication skills & the ability to work effectively with different departments. Familiarity with machinery inspections, pre-delivery inspections or transport coordination would be advantageous.
