Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and presenting high-quality pastry, desserts and baked goods to exacting standards
- Supporting the development of menus, new dishes and seasonal specials
- Ensuring consistency, quality and presentation across all pastry production
- Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient pastry section
- Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the pastry operation
- Supervising and supporting junior members of the pastry team
- Ensuring high standards of food hygiene, health and safety are maintained
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a Pastry Sous Chef, Senior Pastry Chef or similar
- A genuine passion for pastry and a keen eye for detail
- Experience working within a high-quality, busy kitchen environment
- Strong technical pastry skills and a creative approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive, organised and hands-on approach
- The ambition to develop and progress within a luxury hospitality environment
