We are recruiting a Receptionist to join a friendly and supportive SEN school in Tiverton, Devon. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced receptionist or administrator who enjoys a varied workload and thrives in a busy environment where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the reception area and welcoming visitors
- Handling telephone enquiries and staff radio communications
- Supporting with general office administration
- Assisting teachers and the Senior Leadership Team with administrative tasks
- Using school MIS systems to maintain accurate records
- Supporting the wider administration team with student-related tasks
- Ensuring a professional and welcoming front-of-house service
What we're looking for:
- Previous school administration or reception experience preferred
- Confidence using Microsoft 365 packages
- A current DBS on the Update Service
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- A calm, professional approach when working under pressure
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A friendly, empathetic, and approachable manner
- SEN, ASD or ADHD experience would be advantageous
This specialist school supports 117 KS3 and KS4 students with additional needs. While supply staff are not expected to intervene with dysregulated students, it is important that you can remain calm, professional, and resilient within a busy SEN environment.
