Mobile Plant Fitter - Maidenhead | Up to £41,000 + Overtime + Van

We are recruiting for an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join a well-established business covering Maidenhead and the surrounding areas. This is a great opportunity for a skilled engineer looking for a varied field-based role, with ongoing training, good benefits and long-term development.
As a Mobile Plant Fitter, you'll visit customer sites to carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and breakdown repairs across a range of construction and agricultural machinery. You'll also have workshop support when required and the opportunity to broaden your technical experience.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you'll be responsible for:
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing construction and agricultural machinery
- Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
- Carrying out breakdown repairs at customer sites
- Completing routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Identifying further repair requirements and discussing these with customers
- Completing service documentation and job sheets
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Providing professional customer service
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone with:
- Previous experience as a Plant Fitter, Agricultural Engineer or similar
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills
- Experience working with construction or agricultural machinery
- Good knowledge of hydraulic systems and diagnostics
- The ability to work independently and manage breakdowns effectively
- A full UK driving licence
- An engineering qualification or apprenticeship is desirable
