Support Worker – Worthing – Salary up to £27,000 + Sleep in rate = £50.00 – £110.00 per sleep shift Platinum Recruitment is partnering with a leading health care provider in Worthing, West Sussex to find compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join their team. You'll play a vital role in supporting adults with Learning Disabilities, Epilepsy, and Acquired Brain Injury to live fulfilling lives. A NEW enhanced DBS certificate will be required for this support worker role and ideally hold a UK Driving licence and car Key Responsibilities: Provide individualised support based on assessed needs and preferences, promoting independence and well-being. Daily Living Support: Assist with personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. Community Engagement: Accompany individuals on outings, appointments, and social activities. Communication & Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including daily notes and incident reports. Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with colleagues, families, and other professionals. Shift Work: Work flexible shifts, including weekends, evenings, and sleep-ins.About the Role: Provide support to individuals with complex needs, enabling them to live fulfilling lives. Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, medication administration, and domestic tasks. Support individuals in accessing community resources, attending appointments, and engaging in meaningful activities.
