Key Responsibilities
As a Gardener, you'll help maintain exceptional outdoor spaces by:
- Carrying out seasonal maintenance across the hotel's landscaped grounds, including the terraced area, rose garden, sunken garden, cottage garden, croquet lawn, lake, woodland, lawns and wildflower meadow
- Maintaining the polo centre and staff accommodation grounds
- Completing grass cutting and turf maintenance
- Carrying out hedge cutting and general grounds upkeep
- Operating garden machinery including mowers, strimmers, hedge trimmers and leaf blowers
- Taking ownership of designated areas within the estate
- Following all health and safety, fire and security procedures
- Keeping required certificates up to date
- Supporting additional duties when required to meet operational needs
What we're looking for
The ideal Gardener will have:
- Previous experience in horticulture or professional grounds maintenance
- Practical experience using a range of garden machinery safely
