This is a 12-month maternity cover position, perfect for an experienced hospitality professional looking to take the next step within a busy 4-star hotel environment, where you'll play a key role in driving events & sales performance across the two properties. Key Responsibilities:
- Managing M&E and group booking enquiries to maximise revenue
- Supporting pricing and selling strategies for rooms and meeting spaces
- Conducting site inspections and hotel show rounds
- Supporting forecasting, budgeting, and business planning
- Managing enquiries from initial contact through to handover
- Completing post-event follow-ups and customer feedback reviews
- Monitoring competitor activity and market trends
- Ensuring reservations and event processes are completed accurately
- Building strong relationships with internal teams and external partners
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience within a hotel sales or events role
- Strong understanding of reservations, meetings, and group business
- Experience using Delphi, Protel, or similar systems
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Passion for delivering excellent customer service
