We are recruiting a Receptionist for a temporary ongoing opportunity in Bristol. This is a great chance to join a well-established hotel environment, where you will be at the heart of the guest experience and work closely with a supportive front office team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Checking guests in and out
  • Taking room reservations and allocating rooms for walk-in guests
  • Handling guest enquiries and resolving complaints professionally
  • Upselling upgraded rooms and promoting Hotel services
  • Coordinating room-status updates with housekeeping
  • Communicating check-outs, late check-outs, early check-ins and special requests
  • Processing room charges, balancing and banking
  • Operating the switchboard
  • Reviewing function sheets and liaising with departments daily
  • Using Opera Cloud to support smooth front office operations

  • Previous experience in a hotel front office role
  • Experience using Opera Cloud
