Key Responsibilities:

As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for leading quality assurance activities and ensuring compliance across the business. Duties will include:

  • Managing and developing the Quality Management System in line with AS9100 and NADCAP requirements
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies, customer requirements and industry standards
  • Leading internal and external audit programmes
  • Managing quality reporting, FAIRs, PEARs, KPI reporting and quality documentation
  • Supporting customers with all quality-related matters and contract reviews
  • Leading and developing the Quality Assurance and Inspection teams
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives through root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Producing reports and presentations for senior management
  • Working closely with customers, auditors and regulatory authorities

What we're looking for:

To be successful in this Quality Manager position, you'll need:

  • Proven experience as a Quality Manager within the Aerospace industry
  • Strong working knowledge of AS9100 and NADCAP standards
  • Experience managing customer quality requirements and relationships
  • Previous people management and team leadership experience
  • Internal and external audit leadership experience
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
  • Continuous improvement and root cause analysis experience
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
