Sous Chef, Berkhamsted: £38k + Tronc & Accommodation Available We are looking for a Sous Chef to join the established team at a fresh food, family-run gastro Pub in Berkhamsted, set in the Chiltern Hills. This is a chance to work with a small, close-knit team and collaberate on a menu focused on qualityand local sourcing. What\’s on Offer for a Sous Chef Salary: Up to £38,000 + Tronc. Accommodation: Live-In accommodation is available short-term, and the company will assist in finding permanent lodging for the right person. Local Produce: Work with high-quality ingredients sourced from local and independent suppliers Fish & Game. Environment: A relaxed environment focused on providing quality home-cooked food and a selection of real ales, wines, and spirits. Team: Join a small kitchen team that has been working together for the past three years. Your Role as Sous Chef in Berkhamsted You will be the key support for the Head Chef, helping to maintain standards and bring new ideas to the table. Your responsibilities include: Supporting the Head Chef and colleagues with ordering and maintaining high standards of hygiene within the kitchen. Collaborating with all chefs to provide input on new menus and seasonal ideas. Being proactive at all times and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
