Platinum Recruitment is working in partnership with a popular hotel in the heart of London and we have a fantastic opportunity for a Night Reservations Agent to join the team on an initial temporary basis that does have the potential to lead to permanent.
What's on offer:
- 4 nights on / 4 nights off
- 12-hour shifts
- 7.00pm to 7.00am
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and online bookings efficiently and professionally
- Process reservations accurately, ensuring all guest requirements are met
- Provide detailed information about room types, rates, and hotel amenities
- Upsell room upgrades and additional services when appropriate
- Handle guest queries and complaints with tact and diplomacy
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of promotions, special offers, and local events
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Prepare daily reports and handover notes for the morning shifts
Requirements:
- Previous experience of hotel reservations
- Ability to work independently and maintain focus during night hours
- Flexibility to work weekends on a rotation basis
- Exceptional customer service and problem solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills
- Opera Cloud is essential
