This is a hands-on relief role where your leadership, organisation and calm approach will help keep weddings, conferences and functions running smoothly.
We are looking for a confident events professional to support a hotel with a strong conference and events operation, leading from the floor and ensuring each event is delivered to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the smooth running of conferences, weddings and hotel events
- Lead, brief and support the conference and events team during service
- Liaise with clients, guests, kitchen, F&B and hotel operations teams
- Ensure event spaces are set up correctly in line with function sheets
- Manage timings, service standards and guest expectations
- Support food and beverage service where required
- Resolve live event issues quickly, calmly and professionally
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience as a Conference and Events Manager, Events Manager, Banqueting Manager or very experienced Conference and Events Supervisor
- Strong background in hotel events, conferences or banqueting
- Confident leading teams in a busy hospitality environment
- Excellent organisation, communication and attention to detail
- Calm, professional and hands-on approach
- Reliable and able to step into a relief role with confidence
- Candidates must have the right to work in the UK
- Candidates must be able to travel to and from the hotel easily
- Previous conference, banqueting or hotel events experience is essential
