Are you an experienced Relief Conference and Events Manager or a very strong Conference and Events Supervisor who can step confidently into a busy events-led hotel? This is a hands-on relief role where your leadership, organisation and calm approach will help keep weddings, conferences and functions running smoothly.

We are looking for a confident events professional to support a hotel with a strong conference and events operation, leading from the floor and ensuring each event is delivered to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the smooth running of conferences, weddings and hotel events
  • Lead, brief and support the conference and events team during service
  • Liaise with clients, guests, kitchen, F&B and hotel operations teams
  • Ensure event spaces are set up correctly in line with function sheets
  • Manage timings, service standards and guest expectations
  • Support food and beverage service where required
  • Resolve live event issues quickly, calmly and professionally

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience as a Conference and Events Manager, Events Manager, Banqueting Manager or very experienced Conference and Events Supervisor
  • Strong background in hotel events, conferences or banqueting
  • Confident leading teams in a busy hospitality environment
  • Excellent organisation, communication and attention to detail
  • Calm, professional and hands-on approach
  • Reliable and able to step into a relief role with confidence
  • Candidates must have the right to work in the UK
  • Candidates must be able to travel to and from the hotel easily
  • Previous conference, banqueting or hotel events experience is essential
