Reception Responsibilities:

  • Checking guests in and out
  • Manage the PMS system (Guestline), including room allocations
  • Respond to any inquiries via email and phone
  • Prepare a catering list with important information and make sure the kitchen and front of house are aware
  • Manage a comprehensive handover to the following shift
  • Help guests with local enquiries, bookings, tickets, and travel arrangements
  • Responsible for guest security and ensuring their belongings are labelled correctly
  • Assist with other general duties as and when required

Desired qualifications & skills:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is desired
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills with a friendly demeanour to interact effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • A Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated when working independently
  • IT Skills: Understanding of PMS systems and Guestline knowledge would be advantageous
