We're recruiting for a PCB Assembler to join a quality-focused manufacturing team where you'll be working on high-reliability electronic assemblies in a clean, modern production environment. The Role

As a PCB Assembler, you'll play a key role in producing high-quality electronic assemblies to customer specifications, ensuring excellent workmanship & attention to detail throughout the manufacturing process.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Assembling PCB & cable assemblies to engineering drawings & work instructions
  • Carrying out visual inspections of completed assemblies
  • Identifying assembly defects including soldering faults & wiring discrepancies
  • Using microscopes, hand tools & measuring equipment
  • Reading engineering drawings, schematics & bills of materials
  • Recording production & quality documentation accurately
  • Working closely with Production, Engineering & Quality teams
  • Maintaining high housekeeping & health & safety standards

What we’re looking for

To be successful in this PCB Assembler role in Waterlooville, Hampshire, you’ll ideally have:

  • Previous experience assembling PCB or cable assemblies
  • Experience within an electronics manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read engineering drawings & wiring diagrams
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good manual dexterity & soldering experience
  • Experience using inspection equipment such as microscopes (desirable)
  • IPC certification or similar (advantageous)
  • A positive attitude & strong team-working skills
