Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as the first point of contact for enquiries, offering advice and processing orders by phone, email, or face-to-face
- Accurately identifying and cataloguing components using EPC systems and technical manuals
- Managing stock levels, completing stocktakes, and ensuring availability of fast-moving machinery parts
- Sourcing components from manufacturers and suppliers, negotiating for cost-effective purchasing
- Receiving deliveries, checking for discrepancies, and organising outbound despatch
- Supporting engineers and service teams to keep jobs running on schedule within a plant hire environment
- Handling invoices, returns, warranty claims, and maintaining accurate system records
- Keeping the parts counter and display areas clean, organised, and sales-focused
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in a parts, service, or technical support role
- MUST have experience as a Parts Advisor - client will consider someone from other sectors outside of Plant
- Confidence using computer systems and electronic catalogues
- A strong eye for detail and good organisational skills
- Comfortable dealing with customers and internal stakeholders
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn and develop
