Key Responsibilities:
As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for leading quality assurance activities and ensuring compliance across the business. Duties will include:
- Managing and developing the Quality Management System in line with AS9100 and NADCAP requirements
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies, customer requirements and industry standards
- Leading internal and external audit programmes
- Managing quality reporting, FAIRs, PEARs, KPI reporting and quality documentation
- Supporting customers with all quality-related matters and contract reviews
- Leading and developing the Quality Assurance and Inspection teams
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives through root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Producing reports and presentations for senior management
- Working closely with customers, auditors and regulatory authorities
What we're looking for:
To be successful in this Quality Manager position, you'll need:
- Proven experience as a Quality Manager within the Aerospace industry
- Strong working knowledge of AS9100 and NADCAP standards
- Experience managing customer quality requirements and relationships
- Previous people management and team leadership experience
- Internal and external audit leadership experience
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes
- Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
- Continuous improvement and root cause analysis experience
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
