Looking to work in care homes temporarily - join a dedicated care home team in Middlesbrough as a Senior Care Assistant and enjoy weekly pay, flexible shifts, and genuine support from your consultant every step of the way. You will need your own car if not local.
As a Senior Care Assistant in Middlesbrough you will:
- Lead the team of care assistants they are responsible for and train new staff
- Have ownership of the care plan, including the creation of the care plan and its delivery
- Monitor general health and vital signs such as heart rate and blood pressure
- Communicate with families about their relative's progress
- Deliver activities to stimulate and engage residents
- Fill in medication reports / Administer medication
- Assist residents in dressing, washing and using the bathroom
- Serve meals and assist with feeding when required

What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant or Senior Healthcare Assistant.
- Enhanced Adult DBS - dated within 2 years or on the update service.
- Full Care Certificate - dated within 2 years or on the update service.
- Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
- Training Certificate for Administering Medication & experience in medication.
