We're recruiting for a Senior Maintenance Engineer to join the engineering team at in Mere, Wiltshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of engineering operations across a busy manufacturing site while playing a key role in major re-engineering & new product development projects.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out hands-on fault finding, repairs & preventative maintenance on mechanical & electrical equipment
- Diagnosing breakdowns quickly to minimise production downtime
- Programming & maintaining industrial machinery
- Supporting major engineering & re-engineering projects across the business
- Improving equipment reliability through continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintaining engineering records, documentation & maintenance procedures
- Supporting new product development alongside the Head of Product
About You
We're looking for an experienced engineer in Mere, Wiltshire who enjoys being hands-on. You'll ideally have:
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience
- Experience maintaining industrial or manufacturing machinery
- Excellent fault-finding & diagnostic skills
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance systems
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication & organisational skills
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement
It would be advantageous if you have experience with:
- CNC machinery
- PLC programming
- Visual Basic programming
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or PFMEA
- Engineering project management
- Facilities or building maintenance
