Build your career with a leading construction equipment specialist. We're recruiting for a Service Technician to join a well-established construction equipment business based in Maldon. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide range of construction machinery, carrying out servicing, diagnostics and repairs while supporting customers across the region. Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair a range of construction and plant equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
- Carry out planned maintenance, inspections and breakdown repairs.
- Complete warranty, internal and customer repair work to a high standard.
- Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications and health & safety requirements.
- Accurately complete service documentation and inspection reports.
- Maintain company tools and workshop equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service and technical support when required.
What we're looking for
- Experience servicing or repairing construction plant, heavy equipment, agricultural machinery, HGVs or similar mechanical equipment.
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Basic hydraulic and electrical knowledge.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- A full UK driving licence.
