Key Responsibilities: You'll keep heavy goods vehicles safe, reliable and ready for the road through: Carrying out HGV servicing, routine maintenance and vehicle repairs. Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment. Completing preventative maintenance inspections and vehicle safety checks. Preparing commercial vehicles for MOT tests and completing rectification work. Repairing faults across engines, transmissions, braking systems and suspension. Following manufacturer guidelines and dealership workshop standards. Completing accurate job cards, inspection sheets and maintenance records. What we're looking for: This opportunity would suit an experienced HGV Mechanic or HGV Fitter with: A strong background in heavy goods vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs. Practical experience with commercial vehicle diagnostics and fault finding. Knowledge of MOT preparation, safety inspections and preventative maintenance. A reliable, organised approach and commitment to quality workmanship.
