Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overnight operation, ensuring the hotel runs smoothly and safely throughout the night
  • Inspire and support the night team to deliver exceptional guest service
  • Welcome guests, oversee late check-ins and early departures, and handle guest enquiries
  • Carry out security checks and maintain a safe environment for guests and colleagues
  • Resolve guest issues confidently and professionally
  • Complete the night audit and overnight reporting accurately
  • Ensure public areas remain clean, presentable and guest-ready
  • Prepare the hotel for the following day's operations
  • Work closely with other departments to maintain exceptional service standards

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a Night Supervisor, Night Porter or similar hotel role
  • Strong leadership skills with a passion for guest service
  • The confidence to make decisions and work independently
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Good computer literacy
  • Knowledge of the Guestline system is preferred but not essential
  • Flexibility to work a Monday to Sunday night rota
