We're looking for an experienced Front of House Manager to join a well-established branded Hotel in Hemel Hempstead. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident hospitality leader to take ownership of the Reception operation, develop a motivated team and deliver outstanding guest experiences in a busy, well-connected property.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate and develop the front-of-house team
  • Ensure consistently excellent customer service standards
  • Handle guest queries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
  • Oversee bookings and Reception operations to maximise revenue
  • Monitor departmental costs against forecasted business levels
  • Maintain and continually improve operating standards
  • Work closely with Accounts and Revenue teams on paymasters, allowances and adjustments
  • Identify opportunities to maximise sales revenue and achieve targets
  • Support health, safety, food safety, security and payment card compliance
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure operational efficiency

What we're looking for

  • We're seeking a proactive hospitality professional with strong leadership skills and a genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Previous experience as a Front Office Manager or in a similar leadership role
  • Strong team management and communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience working in a fast-paced Hotel environment
  • Medium to large property operational experience preferred
  • Previous branded hotel experience would be advantageous
  • A confident, proactive leader with a positive, can-do attitude
  • A bubbly personality and passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
