Role: Head Chef – Indian Cuisine
Location: Brentwood, Essex

Salary: Up to £45,000

Platinum Recruitment is working in partnership with a high end & modern venue focused on quality Indian and South Asian Cuisine. This is a great opportunity for a Head Chef or talented Sous Chef looking to develop a successful team and bring their own ideas to the table

The Venue has a brand new grill and kitchen to make your own and reflect the bold flavours you can bring to the pass.

What's involved?

As a Head Chef you will lead from the front motivating the team around you and have high standards and knowledge of H&S. you will also be responsible for;

  • Cooking meats, seafood, paneer, and vegetables over a large open-flame grill, balancing searing and slow cooking.
  • Developing and refining signature Indian grill dishes for a modern menu.
  • Enhancing the concept by engaging with front-of-house staff and guests.
  • Preparing authentic marinades with freshly ground spices, yogurt blends, and tenderising techniques.
  • Preparing and cooking authentic tandoori dishes, including naan, roti, sheekhs, and marinated meats.
  • Managing the tandoor oven for optimal temperature and perfect results.
  • Innovating tandoor recipes to fit modern dining trends while maintaining authenticity.
