We're recruiting for an experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen team at a busy residential activity centre near Shrewsbury, operated by a leading UK provider of outdoor education and group residential stays. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong, hands-on Head Chef who enjoys high-volume catering and wants genuine work-life balance, stability, and the chance to lead a well-supported kitchen team.

You'll be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen, delivering nutritious meals to large groups of children and young people attending residential stays.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience as a Head Chef or senior Sous Chef in a high-volume environment
  • Strong knowledge of food hygiene, allergens and compliance
  • Confident leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
  • Flexible, hands-on approach to kitchen operations
  • Level 3 Food Safety (desirable)
