We're recruiting for a Production Planner to join a well-established manufacturing business in Ringwood. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate work orders and ensure production plans align with business priorities.
  • Create, plan, and route work orders through the manufacturing process.
  • Generate and maintain production routes within the ERP system.
  • Review raw material and component requirements.
  • Release work orders daily in line with capacity and priorities.
  • Prepare drawings and manufacturing documentation.
  • Create and review Bill of Materials (BOM) reports.
  • Identify and correct planning and BOM data errors.
  • Process engineering change requests.
  • Support make‑or‑buy decisions with Engineering and Purchasing.
  • Communicate production priorities and progress to shop floor teams.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a production planning or manufacturing planning role.
  • Experience using MRP or ERP systems within a manufacturing environment.
  • A good understanding of manufacturing processes and workflow.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and BOM structures.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to work cross‑functionally.
  • Good IT skills, including Excel, Outlook, and ERP systems.
