Key Responsibilities
- As a Luggage Porter, you'll be an important part of the guest journey, providing a seamless combination of luggage assistance, valet parking and personalised service.
- Welcome guests with a warm and professional approach
- Provide concierge-style assistance, including directions and local recommendations
- Escort guests and assist with luggage handling
- Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles as part of the valet parking service
- Drive estate buggies and provide local shuttle transfers
- Maintain accurate luggage records and a well‑presented driveway
- Deliver discreet and personalised customer service
- Work closely with colleagues across all departments to exceed guest expectations
- Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain required certifications
- Support the wider team with additional duties as business needs require
What we're looking for
- The ideal candidate will have a professional approach, excellent guest service skills and experience working in a luxury hospitality setting.
- Previous experience in a luxury, five-star hospitality environment
- Previous porter or valet parking experience
- A full UK or EU driving licence & at least 3 years' UK driving experience for the relevant vehicle type
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Friendly, confident and professional manner
- Excellent attention to detail
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
