Key Responsibilities as a Reception Team Leader:
- Lead the day-to-day operation of the reception department
- Support, motivate and develop the reception team
- Deliver outstanding guest experiences from arrival through to departure
- Oversee efficient check-in and check-out procedures
- Handle guest enquiries and resolve issues professionally
- Manage room allocations, arrivals and departures
- Ensure reception procedures and standards are followed consistently
- Carry out Duty Management shifts when required
- Work a rotating shift pattern across five days from seven, including weekends and bank holidays
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience working on a busy hotel reception desk
- Strong knowledge of the Opera Property Management System
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Confidence to make decisions and resolve guest issues
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- The ability to remain calm under pressure
