Key Responsibilities as a Reception Team Leader:

  • Lead the day-to-day operation of the reception department
  • Support, motivate and develop the reception team
  • Deliver outstanding guest experiences from arrival through to departure
  • Oversee efficient check-in and check-out procedures
  • Handle guest enquiries and resolve issues professionally
  • Manage room allocations, arrivals and departures
  • Ensure reception procedures and standards are followed consistently
  • Carry out Duty Management shifts when required
  • Work a rotating shift pattern across five days from seven, including weekends and bank holidays

  • Previous experience working on a busy hotel reception desk
  • Strong knowledge of the Opera Property Management System
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Confidence to make decisions and resolve guest issues
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail

  • A flexible approach to shifts and working patterns
