Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of performance and people
  • Lead, train and manage the reservations team to deliver fast, accurate, customer‑focused booking services
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, appraisals and manage monthly rotas
  • Oversee the full reservations process from enquiry to confirmation
  • Personally handle complex, VIP or high‑value bookings
  • Ensure all booking platforms are managed daily with no missed opportunities
  • Work closely with senior leadership on pricing strategies and promotions
  • Analyse booking trends to maximise occupancy and yield
  • Build strong relationships with guests and corporate clients
  • Produce performance reports and maintain system accuracy

Qualifications

  • 5 years’ experience in commercial reservations roles
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial position
  • Strong leadership and people‑management skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Confidence using reservations systems, PMS and Microsoft Office
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to analyse data and make decisions
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
