Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of performance and people
- Lead, train and manage the reservations team to deliver fast, accurate, customer‑focused booking services
- Conduct regular 1:1s, appraisals and manage monthly rotas
- Oversee the full reservations process from enquiry to confirmation
- Personally handle complex, VIP or high‑value bookings
- Ensure all booking platforms are managed daily with no missed opportunities
- Work closely with senior leadership on pricing strategies and promotions
- Analyse booking trends to maximise occupancy and yield
- Build strong relationships with guests and corporate clients
- Produce performance reports and maintain system accuracy
Qualifications
- 5 years’ experience in commercial reservations roles
- At least 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial position
- Strong leadership and people‑management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Confidence using reservations systems, PMS and Microsoft Office
- Commercial awareness with the ability to analyse data and make decisions
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
