Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily workshop and field service activities
  • Manage engineer schedules, workloads, and customer priorities
  • Ensure maintenance, repairs, inspections, and breakdowns are completed efficiently
  • Monitor service performance, productivity, and compliance standards
  • Support and mentor engineers with technical and operational guidance
  • Build strong customer relationships and resolve service-related issues
  • Control service costs, workshop efficiency, and parts usage
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and service documentation
  • Assist with preventative maintenance planning to maximise equipment uptime
  • Help drive continuous improvement initiatives across the department

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience within forklift, plant, powered access, automotive, HGV, or a similar sector
  • Experience working as a Service Controller, controller, Service Advisor, or within a service coordination environment
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operation
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and team leadership
