Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily workshop and field service activities
- Manage engineer schedules, workloads, and customer priorities
- Ensure maintenance, repairs, inspections, and breakdowns are completed efficiently
- Monitor service performance, productivity, and compliance standards
- Support and mentor engineers with technical and operational guidance
- Build strong customer relationships and resolve service-related issues
- Control service costs, workshop efficiency, and parts usage
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and service documentation
- Assist with preventative maintenance planning to maximise equipment uptime
- Help drive continuous improvement initiatives across the department
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience within forklift, plant, powered access, automotive, HGV, or a similar sector
- Experience working as a Service Controller, controller, Service Advisor, or within a service coordination environment
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operation
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and team leadership
