We're recruiting for a Deputy Head Housekeeper to join a stylish new hotel opening in London this Autumn. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all guest rooms and public areas are clean, presentable, and welcoming
- Support and supervise the housekeeping team on a daily basis
- Report and follow up on maintenance issues within guest and public areas
- Assist with implementing preventative maintenance procedures
- Deliver excellent guest service and respond proactively to guest needs
- Ensure company cleanliness, brand, and service standards are maintained
- Support team training, presentation, and performance standards
- Maintain health & safety, COSHH, fire safety, and security procedures at all times
Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience within housekeeping in a 4-star or 5-star hotel
- A strong background in housekeeping operations
- Previous Marriott experience would be advantageous
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
- Experience motivating and leading a team
- A positive and proactive attitude
