Key responsibilities

As a Kitchen Porter, your duties will include:

• Washing dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment.
• Keeping kitchen areas clean, tidy and organised.
• Supporting chefs with basic food preparation when required.
• Ensuring work surfaces and equipment are cleaned to a high standard.
• Disposing of waste correctly and maintaining hygiene standards.
• Following food hygiene, health and safety procedures.
• Supporting the wider kitchen team during busy service periods.

What we're looking for

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or in a similar kitchen environment.
• A reliable, hardworking and proactive attitude.
• The ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• A flexible approach to work, including short-notice shifts.
• An understanding of kitchen hygiene and health and safety standards.
