We are recruiting for a Financial Controller to join a growing hospitality group in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a senior role within an expanding business, where you will play a key part in driving financial performance, supporting new openings, and shaping the future of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee month-end, half-year, and year-end closing processes
  • Produce accurate management accounts including P&L and balance sheets
  • Prepare forecasts across P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow
  • Analyse financial performance against budgets and drive improvements
  • Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital
  • Oversee supplier payments and weekly cash flow projections
  • Lead AR and AP functions, managing a small team
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations
  • Manage audits and liaise with external auditors
  • Review VAT submissions and maintain compliance
  • Improve internal controls and support system implementations
  • Drive efficiencies as the business scales

What we are looking for

  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in a Financial Controller role within the hospitality sector or similar
  • Strong understanding of hotel finance and multi-site operations
  • Experience managing multi-entity structures
  • Excellent financial reporting and analytical skills
  • Background in system implementation or finance transformation
  • Confident communicator with both finance and non-finance teams
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • A proactive and commercially minded approach
