Salary: £40,000 – £42,000 per annum (pro rata, depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:30 – 15:30
Working Pattern: Term-time only (42 weeks per year, including inset days)

Your key responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of catering staff, ensuring smooth daily operations

Prepare and serve fresh, nutritious meals for students and staff

Maintain full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and allergen regulations

Plan and develop creative, balanced menus that meet school standards

Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships

Collaborate with school staff to ensure a seamless catering service

What we\’re looking for:

Previous experience as a Chef Manager within a school or similar environment

Strong leadership and organisational skills

A passion for delivering healthy, high-quality food for young people

Relevant Food Hygiene and Allergen Awareness qualifications

Confident in managing compliance, health & safety, and team performance
