Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing and presenting high-quality dishes using fresh ingredients
  • Run your section efficiently, preparing and cooking dishes to the required standard
  • Working across all sections of the kitchen when required
  • Maintaining high standards of product quality and service
  • Supporting guest satisfaction through consistent food presentation
  • Ensuring all Health & Safety and hygiene procedures are followed
  • Supporting junior team members, including Line cook staff
  • Working closely with the team to ensure smooth service and high morale
What we're looking for
  • NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in a fresh food, professional kitchen environment
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in food presentation
  • Experience with restaurant and buffet service, functions and weddings
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and hygiene procedures
  • A positive, can-do attitude with punctuality and reliability
  • Ability to work under pressure and be a team player
  • Flexibility to work mornings and evenings on a rota across 7 days
