The role

As Head Chef, you'll take full ownership of the kitchen, leading the brigade while continually evolving the food offering. You'll be responsible for:

  • Creating and developing fresh, seasonal menus
  • Leading, motivating, and developing the kitchen team
  • Delivering high-quality food across daily service, events, and functions
  • Managing food costings, GP, stock control, and kitchen budgets
  • Building strong relationships with local suppliers and sourcing quality produce
  • Maintaining exceptional food hygiene, HACCP, and Health & Safety standards
  • Driving consistency, creativity, and operational excellence throughout the kitchen

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a Head Chef or an accomplished Senior Sous Chef ready to step up
  • Strong fresh food background with a passion for seasonal cooking
  • Proven menu development and costing experience
  • Commercial awareness with excellent GP and stock management skills
  • A calm, positive leadership style that brings the best out of the team
  • Someone with the drive and ambition to continually improve and grow the food offering
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
