What’s Required?
- You’ll be working on the assembly of precision electronic components and products used in specialist applications.
- Hand soldering electronic components to a high standard
- Working with fine-pitch components (down to 0.4mm / 0.2mm)
- PCB assembly (SMT and through-hole processes)
- Mechanical assembly of electronic units and enclosures
- Cable preparation, crimping, and wiring
- Inspecting and testing completed assemblies
- Working from technical drawings and build instructions
- Supporting rework and modification where required
