Retail Assistant / Bar Staff – £14.24 per hour | Immediate Start | Ongoing Work
Looking for ongoing work with regular weekday hours? We’re recruiting a Retail Assistant / Bar Staff member at Leuchars Station in St Andrews, offering an immediate start and an ongoing temporary position.
You’ll work across the station shop and bar, helping customers, operating the till and supporting the day-to-day running of both areas. This is a varied role suited to someone friendly, reliable and happy to get involved in different parts of the business.

Key Responsibilities
As a Retail Assistant / Bar Staff member, you will:
- Serve customers in the shop and bar
- Operate the till and process payments accurately
- Assist customers with purchases and enquiries
- Restock shelves and keep displays tidy
- Support bar service when required
- Maintain clean and organised customer areas
- Follow relevant health, safety and hygiene procedures
- Work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous retail, hospitality or customer service experience
- Is friendly, approachable and confident dealing with customers
- Is comfortable handling payments and using a till
- Is reliable, organised and hardworking
- Is flexible and happy to support both shop and bar duties
- Can work mostly Monday to Friday, 08:00-15:00
- Is available to start as soon as possible
