Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of financial processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy
- Produce monthly financial statements and management reports
- Manage cashflow and working capital, including forecasting
- Oversee transactional finance including payroll, VAT, and billing
- Reconcile balance sheets with full supporting schedules
- Prepare KPI reporting and variance analysis for senior stakeholders
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles
- Lead the annual audit process and maintain strong financial controls
- Assist with system improvements including finance software transitions
What we're looking for:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA) or QBE considered
- Proven experience in a similar Accountant role with strong technical knowledge
- Solid understanding of UK GAAP and financial reporting
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
- Advanced Excel and good systems knowledge (Microsoft Dynamics desirable)
- High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Confident communicator who can work across all levels of the business
- Experience within hospitality or related sectors would be advantageous
