Responsibilities for an HVAC Design Engineer:
- Take responsibility for the design, sourcing, supply, and commissioning of bespoke HVAC solutions across both commercial and residential projects.
- Develop energy-efficient HVAC and heat pump designs tailored to specific project requirements.
- Research, assess, and recommend new technologies and product lines to enhance system performance and offerings.
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to deliver compliant, efficient, and cost-effective system solutions.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of internal design processes and best practices.
- Maintain clear, well-organised documentation for designs, proposals, and supplier coordination.
- Support business growth by contributing to the acquisition of new projects and clients.
Requirements for an HVAC Design Engineer:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong understanding of air conditioning, heat pump, and CO2-based technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in HVAC system design and preparing detailed quotations.
