Role: Reservation Agent - TemporaryLocation: London

Are you a customer-focused multitasker with a passion for reservations? If yes, Platinum Recruitment is working in partnership with a luxury 5-Star property in the heart of London and seeking a dynamic F&B/Room Reservation Agent to join their team on a temporary, ongoing basis - with the potential to lead to permanent for the right candidate.

What's in it for you?

What's involved?

As an F&B/Room Reservation Agent, you will be the first point of contact for guests making room and dining reservations, whilst handling a variety of other tasks to ensure every guest interaction is seamless and memorable

Key responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls and respond to guest inquiries, by the hotel's guidelines as well as in adherence to the leading LQA standards
  • Take and manage room reservations efficiently using Opera PMS and OpenTable
  • Handle any room service orders, and liaise with the kitchen/room service team
  • Provide accurate information about the hotel services, availability and promotions
  • Coordinate with all departments to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Ensure room bookings are checked for each date before arrival for accuracy and confirmations
  • Ensure guest history files are used and utilised correctly

Requirements:

  • Immediately available with no prior commitments, including holiday or notice
  • Proven experience in Room and F&B reservations within ideally a similar 4 or 5Star luxury hotel
  • Experience in Opera PMS is essential, and OpenTable is desired
  • Excellent communications skills with a professional and friendly telephone manner are essential
  • The ability to work well under pressure
